This is an amazing recipe. I made it about a month ago and we loved it. I made it as an appetizer which was a mistake because it’s so good. It could be dinner – at least for two people. Tonight, I made it as dinner, along with some great dry jack cheese (Vella from Sonoma…go cheese tasting there!), sliced fuji apple, rosemary triscuits and black bean and garlic chips – for the ahi. YUM!!
I almost forgot to mention the wine, Mohua Savignon Blanc from the Marlborough region was absolutely perfect with the tuna! I like the wines from this region but I don’t love them…however, this one with this meal was terrific. Better than Kim Crawford, imho. Grassy, slightly fruity and crisp. $10 – Do try!
